Media - Video: 'Sleeping'
Sleep is a very personal and intimate time and can reveal someones personality and sate of mind.
My idea was to film myself sleeping. This would be filmed using a 'top down' perspective as if you where looking at me lying in bed.
-This idea was influenced by a previouse work showing a certain David Beckham sleeping.
Media - Video: 'The many faces of Peter Allinson'
This idea consists of me holding an empty frame infront of my face capturing different emotions that make me who I am.
-This is very similar to the well known HP commercial (shown below) although I may experiment I will not try to replicate...
Media - Collage/ Print
A montage using different areas of my face (eyes/nose/mouth etc)
- Could pull different expressions to reflect my personality.
(Above) The Bush Library in America commissioned Jonathan Yeo (British portraitist) to do George Junior, then backed out. In umbrage, Yeo then did the portrait anyway, fashioning the face of the Potus from a collage of porn mags.
It's really not that explicit, or else it isn't until I work out how to zoom in on my computer, and if I were going to go to that kind of trouble, I might as well look at actual porn. A spokesman for the Republican party said: "This picture is very distasteful. Why would anyone want to make a picture of our President from pornographic material?" You could probably file that under, "Well, if you have to ask ..."

This idea consists of me spinning around on a fixed chair pulling expessions that reflect my personality including joyfull, moody, passionate (possible union jack painted on face)
- Close up shot (portrait) with a black background.
- Initial ideas is for the video to be displayed in back and white.
